The City of Marco Island, Florida (population ~18,000) needed to modernize its code enforcement and inspection processes. Heavy paper traffic, inefficient back-office communications, and limited field efficiency made it hard for a small inspection staff to respond quickly and manage high permit volumes.
Marco Island implemented Tyler Technologies’ Enterprise Permitting & Licensing with Inspections Mobile and Code Enforcement Mobile on iPads (EnerGov), giving inspectors real-time access to schedules, documents, GIS maps and the ability to reschedule or reassign work in the field. The result: reduced paperwork and travel, faster response times, greater workflow control, increased productivity, and improved customer service.
