San Jose Unified School District (SJUSD), a Northern California K–12 district serving about 28,830 students with 3,000 employees, sought to increase efficiency and streamline operations after struggling with paper-based processes, disparate information silos, limited end-user training, and weak business intelligence—issues that created redundant work and staff frustration.

SJUSD implemented Tyler’s Munis Employee Self Service to centralize professional development registration and benefits enrollment, added Active Directory single sign‑on, migrated applicant tracking to electronic forms, deployed Tyler Content Manager for document storage, and expanded reporting capabilities.
