As Jurisdiction Expands, so Does Communication Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s Office of the Tribal Prosecutor faced a sudden surge in caseload after major court rulings expanded its jurisdiction, creating pressure to replace manual processes and improve communication for a largely rural constituency. The nation turned to Tyler Technologies and its Enterprise Justice case management platform, along with Attorney Manager, to help handle the transition and keep services accessible.

Tyler Technologies integrated Attorney Manager with Enterprise Justice so the court clerk’s office could receive documents digitally and file cases immediately. The system helped the Choctaw Nation file 200 transferred cases right away, improved interoffice communication, and made case information and online filing more accessible for court staff, attorneys, and tribal members, reducing delays and travel burdens for constituents.
