This solution automated notifications to the probation office upon an arrest, provided details for conducting risk assessments, and digitally delivered those assessments and statistical analyses directly to the judge for pretrial release decisions. As a result, Alameda County streamlined its pretrial process, enabling faster, data-informed decisions and establishing a framework for ongoing analysis and improvement of its pretrial system.
