Coliquio, Germany’s largest and fastest-growing closed community network for medical physicians, needed a more capable way to manage its growing API programme. Before working with Tyk, it relied on a simple reverse proxy setup with haproxy and apache mod-proxy, which lacked the API management features needed as its use of APIs expanded.

Tyk provided an on-premise API management platform with 2 nodes across 3 environments, helping Coliquio secure and manage 20 APIs. Coliquio also used Tyk’s extensibility to build custom middleware and a CI/CD environment, and reported improved efficiency, reduced downtime and errors, and increased external developer adoption.
