Buzz Points used Tyk to support its external and internal microservices architecture for incentive programmes for community financial institutions. Before switching, it relied on an in-house setup with Spring Controllers and NGINX, and found that scaling and managing the growing platform would require significant additional resource.

Tyk On Premise gave Buzz Points an API management platform with unlimited nodes, high availability, clustering, and support for automation through its internal API. The company now manages 15 microservices and more than 10,000 API calls per day with Tyk, and says API management is smoother, easier to monitor, and more efficient.
