Areeba, a leading e-payments provider in the Middle East, was moving from legacy systems to microservices and needed a rapid development environment for building new financial services. The company wanted stronger API management, a single point of access and control, and better documentation, security, and performance, so it turned to Tyk.
Using Tyk’s API gateway and management platform, areeba built and onboarded APIs on an on-premises Kubernetes deployment with a highly available setup. Tyk helped areeba simplify development, reduce outsourced work, manage configurations internally, and support more than 20,000 API requests per month across 1–2 gateway nodes, while the company reported no latency issues or crashes.
