Shell Ideas360 runs a global student innovation competition and needed a single, consumer-style hub to connect dispersed entrants, encourage teamwork and keep engagement high across devices. Rather than build a platform from scratch, Shell Ideas360 partnered with Twine to provide an easy-to-use, mobile-friendly platform that could be adapted to their specialist requirements.
Twine delivered core engagement modules (Forums, Teams, Blogs), integrated Google Hangouts for live webinars, and used Google Analytics to monitor and refine the experience; Browser London built a custom module that bolted onto Twine within a month. The results were measurable: submissions rose 35%, with 3,278 users from over 100 countries, 3,668 messages sent and 3,620 forum views, helping Shell Ideas360 sustain participation and surface groundbreaking ideas.
