Yembo, an AI-powered moving technology company, wanted to make relocation consultations easier, faster, and less stressful for customers and movers. To replace time-consuming in-person visits and long phone-based item inventories, Yembo partnered with Twilio, using Twilio Video and messaging to create a real-time, browser-based consultation experience.
With Twilio’s Programmable Video APIs, Yembo launched Smart Consult, a guided video survey that lets movers and customers collaborate while Yembo’s AI automatically identifies items and packing needs. The results were strong: consultations became 4x faster than traditional relocation visits, an hour-long call was reduced to about 15 minutes, 12 million physical objects were automatically identified, and customer satisfaction reached an average 4.5/5 CSAT score.
