Teamleader Supercharged CRM for Small Businesses

Teamleader is a cloud-based CRM, invoicing and project-management platform founded by three Belgian students to help small businesses escape a mess of siloed software. Their main challenge was tracking and syncing customer interactions—especially phone calls—across teams and platforms to avoid duplicate data and lost history.

Teamleader integrated Twilio Voice to enable in‑browser calling, pop-up notifications for inbound calls, automatic call logging, notes and call recordings tied to contact profiles. The integration provisioned international numbers, supported expansion into several European markets, and helped Teamleader grow to about 2,500 customers while improving efficiency and generating additional local-revenue opportunities.
