A Twilio Case Study
Noggin is an Australian crisis response, security, and incident-management company with decades of experience that needed to help organizations navigate the unpredictable operational, workforce, and supply‑chain risks created by COVID‑19. The pandemic increased demand for reliable, scalable communications and exposed limitations in Noggin’s patchwork messaging setup, consuming engineering and support resources and prompting a faster, more robust solution.
Noggin quickly launched two free Noggin Epidemic Response Modules—one for businesses and one for public health and healthcare agencies—and integrated Twilio Programmable SMS and Twilio SendGrid email (with voice, conferencing, and IVR planned). The integration improved message delivery reliability and confidence, enabled hundreds of organizations across 15+ countries to manage alerts, case tracking, welfare checks, and continuity planning, and strengthened sales, engineering, and support by outsourcing communications to a trusted platform.
