Founded in 2011 to help educators share assignments, due dates, and announcements, the company faced the challenge of delivering reliable, scalable messaging to millions of students, parents, and teachers as usage spiked.
Remind integrated Twilio’s programmatic SMS platform and local phone numbers to send messages reliably at scale. The result: 2.6 billion messages delivered, a 4x reduction in delivery failures, and reach to about 35 million parents, students, and teachers — with growth to 600,000+ teachers, more than 10 million student/parent users, and roughly 2.5 million messages sent per day.
