As deliverability became more complex, the team faced domain blocks and bounce-rate issues that were putting email performance and lead-routing reliability at risk.
Twilio helped Realtor.com investigate the account data, identify high hard-bounce rates and a 10% block rate on an inactive lead-routing domain, and improve list hygiene and sending strategy. As a result, domain blocks were lifted, bounce rates were cut in half for the top email service providers, and overall delivery rates rose to over 99% for sending accounts, restoring confidence in the email program.
