Happy Grasshopper, an automated email marketing platform, needed to protect its clients’ sender reputation and improve email engagement as major ISPs moved toward stricter DMARC policies. Using Twilio SendGrid’s email infrastructure, the company realized many customers sending from personal domains could face deliverability issues, including messages being dropped or marked as spam.
Twilio, through Twilio SendGrid Email Delivery Consulting Services, helped Happy Grasshopper identify 862 clients violating DMARC policy and recommended moving them to controlled sending domains. Twilio also provided subpool management guidance and Event Webhook-based segmentation to isolate problematic senders, helping Happy Grasshopper achieve a 9% increase in average open rate and a 96.7% overall delivery rate.
