How Lightspeed got started on the right foot with Implementation Services

Lightspeed, a cloud-based point-of-sale and ecommerce platform, needed to fix email delivery issues after malicious attacks on unprotected sign-up pages caused a major European mailbox provider to block its messages. The company turned to Twilio SendGrid and Twilio Implementation Services to move its European email program off a basic mail transfer agent and restore reliable delivery for merchants and their customers.

Twilio SendGrid guided Lightspeed through IP warming, API integration, DNS authentication, and account setup while monitoring sending during the transition. As a result, Lightspeed achieved a 98% average delivery rate, 75% average unique open rates, and a 25x decrease in spam reports, along with improved IP reputation and the end of the malicious list attacks.
