Holonumber, built by engineers Costin Miu and Georgi, set out to stop losing sales to dropped VoIP calls. Relying on Skype and unstable mobile data, they repeatedly missed closing calls and watched customers walk away—so they needed a reliable, mobile-first secondary business line that wouldn’t be tied to a desktop.
They built an iOS app using Twilio for voice and SMS, integrated account/sub-account management and Usage API Triggers for balance notifications, and shipped to the App Store without support tickets. The result: reliable call quality, numbers in 40+ countries, and a portable business line that restored customer trust and saved deals.
