Using Twilio SendGrid, eBay sought a way to send more relevant offers, avoid expired deals, and tailor messages based on each customer’s interests and behavior.
Twilio helped eBay build an in-house targeting and personalization CRM on top of Twilio SendGrid, powered by real-time engagement data and email event webhooks. The solution enabled rapid feedback loops, dynamic recommendations, and reliable delivery at massive scale, supporting over one billion personalized emails per month. As a result, eBay consolidated many small campaigns into a few flagship, real-time offers and achieved significant improvements in click-through rates and sales driven by email.
