Case Study: SystemOne achieves global diagnostic connectivity and delivers 3.8M patient results with Twilio Programmable Wireless

A Twilio Case Study

Preview of the SystemOne Case Study

Connected Devices to Detect Disease in Developing Economies

SystemOne provides data and hardware solutions that collect diagnostic instrument results across 40 countries and route them securely to labs, clinics, ministries, and patients. Working in low‑infrastructure settings, the company faced the challenge of reliably connecting thousands of remote devices and delivering timely results and operational intelligence (supply chain and device maintenance) to clinics often hundreds of miles from cities.

By integrating Twilio Programmable Wireless with its Aspect platform and the solar‑powered, tablet‑based Aspect Reporter, SystemOne deployed a single global SIM that reroutes across networks and uses SMS to reach patients directly. The solution connected 1,800 devices, delivered 3.8 million patient results and 890,000 clinic results, and enabled faster, more scalable rollouts and better visibility into operations.
