Bandsintown, the concert discovery platform connecting fans to favorite artists, needed a reliable way to deliver highly personalized event alerts and recommendations at massive scale. It has used Twilio SendGrid’s Email API since the early days of its email program to power location- and preference-based notifications for its more than 60 million active users.

Twilio SendGrid helped Bandsintown automate weekly digests, ticket alerts, and livestream reminders by segmenting emails by audience and location. The result was strong performance at scale, including an average delivery rate of 99.05% and unique open rates reaching 27%, while supporting more than a billion emails sent each year.
