Neticon, an agency based in Milan, Italy, helps global brands with digital marketing and commerce solutions, and needed a better way to make email campaigns more relevant at scale. Instead of list-based targeting, Neticon wanted to use user profile data from multiple systems to deliver personalized emails, maintain segmented reporting and scheduling, and support 1:1 conversations for clients using Twilio SendGrid.
Twilio helped Neticon build its custom campaign management tool, Mailicon, using Twilio SendGrid APIs, the Event Webhook API, and scalable infrastructure. The result was fewer but more targeted campaigns, lower operational costs, and improved conversion metrics, with one client seeing higher-quality conversions, increased open and click-through rates, reduced churn, and easier email testing and optimization.
