Funda, the leading online property platform in the Netherlands, needed a better way to analyze engagement across the buyer journey and build advertising audiences from its mostly anonymous traffic. With over 90% of visitors unauthenticated and 25% of traffic coming from mobile apps, its existing CDP couldn’t create audiences for mobile users, limiting the value of its advertising inventory. Funda turned to Twilio and Twilio Segment Engage to improve first-party data use and audience creation.
Twilio helped Funda capture data from all customer touchpoints, including anonymous web and mobile users, and use SQL Traits to model intent and create high-value audience segments in Twilio Segment Engage. Those audiences were then sent to Google Display & Video 360 for retargeting, including mobile ad identifiers. As a result, Funda can build targeting audiences faster, better identify serious buyers, and increase advertising revenue from programmatic and direct deals.
