Spriggy, an Australian family finance platform helping parents and kids manage money safely, needed a more robust way to authenticate its 1.2 million members while meeting strict financial-services security requirements. As it scaled and launched new features like SPRK, Spriggy turned to Twilio Verify to simplify authentication and replace a complex in-house SMS OTP solution.

With Twilio Verify, Spriggy reduced authentication complexity and cost, cut code from critical login and onboarding flows, and achieved an 89–90% success rate for authentication attempts. Twilio also helped block about 50 fraud attempts per month, improved visibility through alerts and dashboards, and delivered a stronger ROI than Spriggy’s custom approach.
