Tuya Smart MCU SDK Helps Donlim Group Achieve Product Intelligence

Donlim Group, also referred to as Guangdong Donlim Electrical Appliances Holdings Co., Ltd., is a large-scale appliance manufacturer that wanted to quickly add smart functionality to its existing product lines without major hardware redesign. To meet rising market demand for intelligent appliances, Donlim partnered with Tuya Smart and used Tuya’s MCU SDK, Tuya Module, and Tuya Cloud to support its product intelligence efforts.

Tuya Smart enabled Donlim Group to embed a Tuya module into existing circuits and use the MCU SDK’s prepackaged APIs for data reporting and delivery, while also providing a module debugging assistant to speed up development and testing. As a result, Donlim successfully transformed multiple product categories, including coffee machines, bread makers, humidifiers, kettles, and slow cookers, into smart appliances. The upgraded products performed well in the market, were highly competitive, and received better consumer feedback than other brands, though no exact numeric impact was given.
