Lumen Research, a market research firm, was commissioned by Turtl to conduct a study measuring the impact of content format on reader engagement. The challenge was to scientifically determine if Turtl’s interactive content format could outperform a traditional static PDF in capturing and holding a reader's attention.
Turtl implemented its interactive content platform to present the same material found in a static PDF. The results from the study were significant. Readers spent 73% more time engaging with the Turtl content and demonstrated better comprehension, with 70% fewer readers misremembering a key message compared to the PDF group. The Turtl format also provided a more satisfying experience, with 64% more readers finding its layout accessible.
