Turntide Can Reduce Operating Costs at Fast Food Restaurants, Putting Money Back into Your Pocket

Fast Food Restaurants faced rising pressure to meet ESG targets and cut operating costs across thousands of locations, but many owners and franchisees find carbon reduction and energy savings difficult to achieve. Turntide Technologies addressed this challenge by offering the Turntide Smart Motor System, a drop-in HVAC/motor retrofit designed to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.

Turntide Technologies deployed 15 smart motors across five restaurants (via channel partner Pack-a-Drum), delivering an average 58% reduction in motor energy use, 111,121 kWh saved per year, $23,712 in annual utility savings, and a 1.26-year payback after rebates and CARES Act reductions; the project also cut roughly 58,709 lbs of CO2e annually (equivalent to 8,869 gallons of gas).
