Snorkel electrifies their Speed Level with Turntide batteries and system design expertise

Snorkel, a global full-line manufacturer of aerial lifts, needed to rapidly develop a battery-powered version of its flagship Speed Level to meet regulatory and customer pressure to decarbonize. Facing tight timelines and the need for a scalable, modular battery solution and electric drive expertise, Snorkel engaged Turntide Technologies and its Turntide HY Energy PLUS battery system to accelerate proof-of-concept development.

Turntide Technologies worked closely with Snorkel to design and integrate a modular battery and drivetrain solution (Turntide HY Energy PLUS — 51.8 V nominal, 5.76 kWh per battery) and met the deadline for a proof of concept. The collaboration enabled Snorkel to launch the electric Speed Level, regain market share and remain competitive while delivering measurable benefits such as scalable battery capacity, lower maintenance and energy costs, improved indoor air quality, and near‑silent operation; Turntide continues to supply battery systems for Snorkel machines.
