Oxygen8, a Vancouver-based ventilation innovator, needed a full-stack solution to improve indoor air quality (IAQ) and provide real-time monitoring for customers—especially in high-risk settings like fitness studios during the pandemic. To deliver 100% outside air with low-profile, all-electric ERV systems while enabling cloud visibility and controls, Oxygen8 partnered with Turntide Technologies and integrated its Ventum H15 ERV solution with the Turntide Building App for Daikin VRV monitoring.

Turntide Technologies implemented the Turntide Building App to cloud-connect Oxygen8’s ERV and Daikin VRV systems, adding remote IAQ monitoring, alerts, and simplified serviceability. The combined solution dropped average CO2 from 1,100–1,200 ppm to ~700 ppm (about a 40% reduction), reduced peak CO2 from 2,000–2,400 ppm to 800–950 ppm, increased peak ACH from <2 to 6, and enabled remote monitoring—allowing Innovative Fitness West Vancouver to resume pre-pandemic capacity with zero viral outbreaks.
