Fering, a manufacturer of rugged off-road vehicles, required a powerful and compact electric propulsion system for its new hybrid vehicle. The challenge was to integrate this drivetrain into the existing vehicle architecture without compromising performance, range, or off-road capability. Fering selected axial flux motors and inverters from the vendor, Turntide Technologies, to meet these demands.

Turntide Technologies provided a complete electric propulsion package, including axial flux motors for traction and power generation, as well as inverters for control. The high power density and compact size of the motors allowed Fering to successfully integrate the system.
