The customer, a major retailer of home appliances, faced the challenge of lowering connectivity costs without sacrificing network reliability for its point-of-sale, inventory control, and inter-site communications across over 25 locations. The existing wireline technologies from traditional carriers were expensive and not universally available. To address this, they worked with vendor Turnium and their partner Quantum Internet Solutions Ltd to deploy an SD-WAN solution.

Turnium's SD-WAN solution integrated multiple wireline and Starlink connections, which were simply plugged into the Turnium device for automatic activation. This provided the retailer with always-on, high-performance connectivity featuring real-time failover, quality of service, and encryption. The implementation successfully reduced network costs while increasing reliability and ensuring business continuity, safeguarding critical applications from ISP outages and other failures.
