A Tundra Case Study

Nike claimed all 25 locker prizes in a few hours with Tundra

The customer, Nike, sought to drive engagement for the opening of its Exclusive Jordan Space store in Melbourne. Their challenge was to create a rewarding in-store activation that would encourage visits and interaction, using a limited number of physical prize lockers. The vendor, Tundra, was engaged to design and build a web application to manage this digital-to-physical experience.

Tundra developed a VueJS application that verified Nike members and randomized locker assignments, controlling the probability of a win to manage prize distribution over the ten-day promotion. The solution provided a successful path for winners to unlock a prize and an unsuccessful path where visitors received a discount voucher. This initiative by Tundra was highly effective, with all prizes claimed on the first day and a high rate of return visits from those who received the consolation offer.
