A Tundra Case Study
Media Super, an Australian superannuation fund, sought to improve the clarity and comprehension of its pension-related website content to better educate its members nearing retirement age. To address this challenge, they partnered with Tundra, which employed its content comprehension testing service to identify specific areas for improvement.
Tundra implemented a series of remote user tests, including highlighter tests, recall tests, and card sorting activities, to gather deep feedback on the existing content's comprehensibility. This was supplemented by empirical readability audits using the Flesch-Kincaid scales. The result was a set of actionable recommendations, such as reducing jargon and simplifying syntax, which Media Super used to develop a prioritized plan for rewriting content. Tundra's work led to improved readability across the pension content and its recommendations were integrated into the customer's ongoing content creation for other sections of their site.
