A Tulip Case Study
RFK Racing, a championship-winning NASCAR team based in Concord, North Carolina, needed a better way to build, inspect, and maintain race cars with zero room for error. As the team scaled up and began managing tens of thousands of parts under strict compliance requirements, spreadsheets and siloed databases became too slow and error-prone. Tulip’s frontline operations platform was used to modernize these manual processes and bring traceability, real-time data, and connected workflows to the shop floor.
Using Tulip, RFK Racing built custom apps for part traceability and genealogy, work order management, digital guidance, inventory and equipment tracking, and trackside race-day checks, all integrated with metrology tools and ERP systems. The results included end-to-end traceability across 46,000+ parts, a 30% reduction in post-race teardown and inspection time, and faster, more reliable compliance with NASCAR inspections. Tulip also helped RFK Racing create a digital-first culture of continuous improvement and a single source of truth for operations.
