A Tulip Case Study
Magic Tilt, a family-owned manufacturer of aluminum and galvanized boat trailers, faced rising quality complaints (loose hardware, missing parts), fragmented paper records, and no structured way to track root causes or share data across sales, dealers, and the shop floor. To address these challenges they implemented Tulip’s no-code shop floor platform and app templates to standardize workflows, capture production data, and increase traceability.
Using Tulip’s apps—QR VIN scanning, photo documentation, searchable warranty records and dashboards—Magic Tilt can link trailers to shipment loads, pull exact part specs and images, and track product genealogy. As a result, Tulip helped Magic Tilt deliver replacement parts correctly the first time, significantly reduce disputes and remake costs, improve worker accountability and performance, and quickly document one-off COVID-era parts; Tulip is also being used to pilot dealer unload photo capture and an inventory ordering build.
