Case Study: Université Grenoble Alpes achieves agile IT transformation with Tuleap

The UGA merged its IT departments and succeeded in its agile transformation, from values to tools

Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), a major French university with 55,000 students and 6,000 staff, faced the challenge of merging multiple IT departments while shifting software project management toward a more customer-oriented, agile approach. The university also needed to equip teams with the right tools to support this broader organizational and technical transformation, and chose Tuleap to help drive the change.

Université Grenoble Alpes implemented Tuleap Enterprise Edition Silver on-premises, and Tuleap became a pillar of support for its agile transformation across values, processes, and tooling. The result was smoother adoption of project tracking by development and other departments, significantly better team collaboration, and a three-times higher project efficiency, with the ISD managing 200 software applications and 75 users more effectively.
