The Design-Oriented Approach with Pattern Design Software

Sahni Fashions Pvt Ltd, a technically skilled Indian garment manufacturer known for complex, design-oriented women’s fashion, was still running its pattern making, grading, and marker making manually before working with Tukatech. The company needed a better way to handle intricate garments and improve efficiency without sacrificing accuracy, and it turned to Tukatech’s TUKAcad pattern design software.

Tukatech implemented TUKAcad with hands-on training and installation support, helping Sahni Fashions digitize its production workflow. The results were strong: pattern masters learned the system quickly, sample-making and courier costs went down, and backlog was largely eliminated. Productivity rose from about 1 to 1.5 patterns per day per pattern master to 2.5 to 3, while fewer physical samples were needed and revisions became much easier to manage.
