3D Clothing Rendering Enhances Indochine Goal to Reach $1B

Indochine International, a China-based apparel design, sourcing, and manufacturing company, was growing rapidly but struggling to connect its globally scattered factories, design rooms, and offices. Despite having CAD systems, its patternmakers still relied on paper patterns, and the company needed a digital platform to improve communication and speed product development. Tukatech’s apparel technology suite, including TUKAcad, TUKA3D, and TUKAcloud, was brought in to solve the challenge.

Tukatech implemented a centralized digital workflow with master templates, cloud-based collaboration, and virtual sampling across Indochine’s locations. The results were significant: product development time dropped from about 90 days to 6 days, the total concept-to-approval cycle fell to less than 7 days, and all paper patterns were eliminated within 30 days. Tukatech also helped Indochine save labor and fabric and positioned the company to support continued growth toward its $1 billion sales target.
