Monext, a European electronic payments provider, needed to guarantee PCI DSS compliance because it processes secure payments. With two large data centers, over 40 Cisco and Check Point firewalls, more than 850 servers and a rules base that had grown to about 70,000 unique firewall rules, preparing for audits was slow and labor-intensive—reviewing each firewall rule base took around ten days.
