Johnson Controls, a global leader in building automation and safety systems, faced a complex hybrid-network challenge: legacy, box-by-box firewall management across multi-vendor firewalls, multi-cloud and SASE environments, manual error-prone change processes, long three-day change SLAs and lengthy audit preparations. To address this, Johnson Controls began working with Tufin and adopted SecureTrack+, SecureChange+ and Provisioning (integrated with ServiceNow) starting in 2023.

Tufin implemented automated target identification, risk analysis, change design and automated change provisioning with ServiceNow integration, supported by Tufin Professional Services for onboarding and workflow design. The Tufin solution centralized policy management, enabled automatic cleanup recommendations, and cut change SLAs from three days to hours; audit preparation times fell from weeks to hours, while misconfigurations are identified and fixed much faster.
