Fujitsu Boosts Firewall Policy Compliance & Management Services with Tufin

Fujitsu TDS GmbH, part of the Fujitsu Group, needed to strengthen firewall policy compliance, streamline policy changes and prove audit readiness for multiple standards (GxP, SOX, ISO, etc.). To meet frequent customer and regulator audits and improve multi‑vendor firewall management, Fujitsu deployed Tufin’s solution—initially the Tufin Orchestration Suite SecureTrack and later SecureChange—to gain the reporting and policy-analysis capabilities required.

Tufin centralized visibility, automated risk reports and enabled policy-driven change planning and decommissioning, reducing manual effort and speeding change execution. As a result Fujitsu cut time on server decommissioning by 20%, saved about 15% per policy change, now implements simple changes in ~5 minutes and larger ones in 30–60 minutes, and increased capacity to handle roughly 15 changes a day—while improving audit readiness, customer-facing reporting and scalable firewall management.
