Case Study: Chemetall saves manpower, storage space and compliance effort with tts (SuccessFactors Learning Management System)

A tts Case Study

Preview of the Chemetall Case Study

With digital training management Chemetall saves on manpower, stock and storage space for archiving

Chemetall, a global specialist in surface-technology chemicals, faced an outdated, paper-based training management process for legally mandated courses — roughly 3,000 training attendances annually and some 1,500 legislated courses requiring 30‑year records. To modernize compliance training and reduce manual workload and storage needs, Chemetall engaged tts for consulting to migrate its training organization to the SuccessFactors Learning Management System.

tts ran feasibility and configuration workshops, provided best-practice role and catalog structures, configured SuccessFactors, migrated all courses into the system between October–December 2014 with a three-person effort, and delivered admin and end‑user training ahead of go‑live. The result: digital individual learning histories for 550 users, automated notifications and refresher management, shorter response times, reduced manpower and storage requirements, high user acceptance, and a project completed in three months and roughly one-third under the anticipated budget.
