SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways, wanted to modernize talent management and create a more open, bottom-up feedback culture for its 35,000 employees. To do this, it needed a simple, secure, mobile-friendly way for staff to discuss their development and work experience on equal footing, including for employees without regular computer access. tts supported the initiative with a dialog app built on SAP technologies.

tts implemented the “Employee Dialog App” on SAP Business Technology Platform, using tts labs to develop a mobile interface connected to SAP SuccessFactors processes in the background. The solution introduced flexible, multilingual, peer-to-peer dialog processes, reduced HR support requests through self-service, and helped SBB establish a more dynamic communication culture. Using a Scrum approach and MVPs, tts delivered the project in nine months and enabled fast, structured progress toward go-live.
