REWE Systems, the IT provider for the large German retailer REWE Group, faced a challenge in providing uniform user support for its 200,000 users across 800 applications. Knowledge was fragmented across different sources, and employees often resorted to inefficiently asking colleagues for help instead of having a central, reliable support system. They implemented the tts performance suite to address this issue.
The solution from tts involved creating a central performance support system called "QuickAccess," where internal experts could create and manage help content. This led to the creation of over 6,500 support documents. The system was later expanded to supermarket back-office PCs and, ultimately, to mobile Android devices, providing critical information directly to staff on the shop floor and consolidating approximately 12,000 information documents into a single, user-friendly source.
