Bitburger Brewery Group, one of Germany’s top three breweries, needed a way to maintain high-quality bar service in the face of severe staffing shortages and high employee turnover in the catering industry. To help customers onboard new service personnel quickly, it worked with tts on a free “bartending technique” eLearning course.

tts developed a hybrid digital training solution that combined existing materials with video tutorials, quizzes, and gamified VR elements, including an interactive 3D cooling room. The course lets users train anytime without logging in and earn a certificate by scoring at least 80% on the final quiz. Bitburger reported faster, more practical onboarding, time and cost savings, and a scalable way to support premium beer quality and service digitalization.
