Bekaert harmonises SAP documentation for 7,000 IT users

Bekaert, a global leader in steel wire transformation with 27,000 employees, had implemented SAP worldwide but faced fragmented, inconsistent IT documentation spread across Word, PowerPoint, local SharePoint servers, wikis and intranet pages. The SAP Competence Centre lacked visibility and governance over manuals in different languages, leaving end users uncertain whether guidance was up to date — so Bekaert engaged vendor tts and its tt performance suite to harmonise documentation and support.

tts implemented a centralised testing and documentation management solution with tt performance suite, managed by a two-person team in Belgium using a server environment and workflows to apply automatic updates and provide role- and entity-based performance support. The system now supports 7,000 end-users in 25 languages, has generated more than 2,200 test cases, is used daily by around 140 support staff for testing and by 150 employees for documentation, and has delivered a single source of truth, worldwide efficiency gains and broader adoption across business units such as HR.
