TSC Business Solutions helped MRS Distribution Ltd, a logistics company with multiple UK sites, address the need for a new warehouse RF system at its East Kilbride facility. The company wanted a solution similar to the one already in place at its Bathgate head office to support real-time warehouse operations, scanning, and stock control.

TSC Business Solutions implemented a Narrow Band RF data collection system using Psion Teklogix handheld and truck mount terminals, Open Tek Term software, base stations, and barcode racking labels. The solution provided full warehouse coverage with just two RF base stations in both sites, improved throughput and real-time updates, and reduced the risk of stock going missing by linking every item to a location.
