Forth Ports uses Psion and TSC solutions to run major supply route to Scotland and London

Forth Ports Limited, a group of ports serving Scotland and London, needed a fast, reliable way to track and manage more than nine million tonnes of cargo each year in harsh outdoor conditions. TSC Business Solutions provided Psion mobile data collection solutions, including Psion 7530 handhelds and 8525 vehicle mounts, to support efficient port operations.

TSC Business Solutions helped Forth Ports upgrade to Psion 7530 Narrow Band units with faster processing and larger screens, enabling access to productivity and reporting software across the site. The solution expanded RF coverage over the entire 3-square-mile port area with just eight radio base stations, reduced operational costs, and gave staff dependable tracking and handling capabilities throughout the docks.
