Matter, an employee engagement and recognition app used by more than 4,000 companies, was starting to attract interest from larger mid-market and enterprise organizations. To support that move upmarket, Matter needed automated HR integrations that could handle census data, reduce manual work, and improve the customer experience. It partnered with Finch for HR integrations.

With Finch, Matter launched integrated experiences that automated recognition for birthdays and work anniversaries and later powered Advanced Analytics by combining HR demographic data with survey results. Finch helped Matter get to market faster and unlock access to hundreds of HR systems through one integration, contributing to a more than 67% increase in average deal size. The analytics feature became a major deciding factor in 7 of the last 10 enterprise deals, helping Matter close larger deals and expand into enterprise sales.
