Rebranding a truly unique destination to allow it to fly

The Airport, a managed house for Robinson’s Brewery, wanted a stand-alone identity for its location at the end of Manchester International Airport runway. Truth Creative was brought in to help the pub move away from a plane-spotting image and the sense that it was only a waiting room for taxi drivers.

Truth Creative developed a brand identity that stayed sympathetic to the Robinson’s parent brand and worked closely with the client interiors team. The project also included on-site customer touch-points and website design, and The Airport Pub later recorded a weekend revenue uplift of 3000% and won Best Pub Design at the 2015 Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.
