National Cortina, a New Jersey–based food importer supplying domestic and imported ingredients for over 50 years, faced new FSMA/FSVP requirements and needed a way to centralize documents, audits and certificates for more than 40 foreign suppliers. To meet this challenge they selected Trustwell’s supplier management platform — a user-friendly documentation portal to centralize records, communicate with trading partners, and manage compliance workflows.
Trustwell implemented a centralized portal that lets suppliers upload documents (with mobile and multilingual support), organizes records by category, and issues alerts for expiring certificates. During an FDA on-site FSVP inspection National Cortina was able to retrieve and present required records immediately; the inspector praised the system, the inspection was completed quickly, and the company received official confirmation that their facility passed and is FSVP-compliant. Trustwell’s solution reduced time spent searching for documents, improved supplier communication, and gave the team confidence for future inspections.
