Wegmans Food Markets needed a better way to keep nutrition facts accurate and synchronized across deli scales, product catalogs, and other systems as customer demand grew. Trustwell’s Genesis Foods software had already been in use at Wegmans, and the company turned to Trustwell again when its nutrition team needed a more reliable way to manage scaled-item data and reduce outdated manual workarounds.

Trustwell implemented the Genesis API to move formula, analysis, and label data from Genesis into Wegmans’ internal systems and Wegmans.com, creating a single source of truth. The result was improved nutrition-analysis accuracy, a smoother workflow, and significant time savings by eliminating repeated manual data entry, while also helping Wegmans meet USDA guidelines.
